Poor Duty

One reason why I think we live in a f**ked up society I have plenty more but just for now lol .

So Saturday I was on 34th Street and a black guy, girl & baby were trying to catch a cab, and couldn’t get one. So a couple cabs drove by me and slowed down to stop, so I offered my ride to them … the freakin’ cab drove off!  We were all like WTF was that about??? Determined now to get this guy and his girl and kid a cab I sat there and waived down more cabs. One more cab came and I acted like I was getting in then we switched and they went to the cab – I kid you not the cab drove off as soon as he saw the black guy and me backing away form it. Now I furious I waived down another cab, and when the cab came over the taxi guy driver actually said to the black you’re too black to get in my cab.

WTF are you serious! Two more cabs after that did the same thing, and these people & little baby (the cutest little girl ever too) had to end up walking to their apartment.
(which was like four streets away but if you know New York City to live there you have to be making $)

It’s funny because every cab I’ve ever gotten into I cannot understand not one freaking word they are saying no matter what race they are because taxi cabs driver come from all over the place. I think they are all out of their mind and need driving lessons! So to for them to pass judgment is beyond me.

The nerve of these taxi cabs drivers to say that and deny a ride which is their paycheck in essence. And we live in such a time where really people being only one nationality is almost never heard of and honestly as proud as am of mine I cannot wait until everyone is mixed then maybe the ignorance will stop and it will have to find something else to feed off of god knows it will.

It’s funny because I have friends from ghetto ghetto to upper upper class class but I started thinking about it after that and yeah, it is always so much harder to catch a cab when I’m with a group with other nationalities – it’s bulls@#t really! sorry had to vent because convo came up again ;p
